Having grown up in South East London, I was drawn to architecture through the enormity of projects being built in the lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics.

I became very curious in the developments in my area and beyond, curiosity which lead me to pursuing architecture as a degree.

Throughout my studies I have discovered the importance of inclusive design. As the UK's biggest cities continue to develop and grow  it is important to me that development does not seclude, isolate or ignore an areas community and traditions in order to prevent gentrification.

We must instead work at improving the lives of all in a community through architecture rather than just those coming into one.

WHAT A MAN CAN BE, HE MUST BE! _ Abraham Maslow.

Melodramatic  wordings describe my pursuit into the realm of the human mind and self-realization.  What I can create, I must create. I do not believe in the concept of disciplines or talent, and enjoy being a very multi-disciplinary individual. I actively participate in logo design, ad campaigns, interior design, cartooning, textile, video game/ movie making and interior design projects. Also, a background in Engineering, I really enjoy physics and maths!

Born in conservative Nigerian society, it was clear the influence of the built environment on social reform and  culture. I use architecture as my platform to help reach and achieve my creative goals. I hope to one day design a “complete” building, from the concrete in the walls to the systems and technology employed to the 5mm embroidery pattern on the throw pillow.

Key features when designing for me is the quality of the space, the comfort of the space and a space which works for the architect and the building users. Building a rapport  with the user's, listening and understanding their needs and meeting those standards is central for me, my aim is always user experience.

There needs to be clarity in how a user is supposed to navigate through a space, the experience must be pleasant and memorable for the user.

Transit into the realm of architecture came from a childhood engrained with artistic inspirators coupled with a deep enthusiasm towards the illustrative arts and story telling. Living in the industrial fabric of Merseyside, the North West's
urban history has moulded their creative perspective and style. Lebbeus Woods' visionary imagery plays a key influential role in this too, for his unconventional and experimental exploration of systems in crisis.

The built environment is seen as a stage to set a scene, a vital living, breathing body intrinsic to narratives of social and cultural anthropology. They seek to influence imagination and evoke emotive dialect through the means of design.
