Mapping activity

Objective

This was our main event and the most visually interesting, it consisted of a series of public spaces which were made to look like game pieces which participants laid wherever they wanted on a large map. Seeing as people were so eager to play, we made data collection the initial stage of game play and gave every one an alias eg 2 Pink, which then fed back into the other activities. This enabled all to track each individuals contribution throughout the entire event.. Each persons iteration of Stretford was recorded via photograph next to their information card.

Identifying Commonly occurring spaces and their exact location, Spatial organisation ideas that could feed into later parts of the project. Recreating lost spaces which they wanted re-introduced. 

Finding links in terms of need and location within different age groups and professions.
